Oh, the humanity

The Coral Sea

Sigh, I don't really listen to music from the East anymore (I don't listen to English Pop much, come to think of it).

You know why? Choices are limited. I've grown out of it.
If it ain't Pop, it's R&B or Hip Hop. Where's Folk? Where's Indie?
The industry's so superficial and vapid. I feel dumbed down just listening to them.
Think: Cyndi Wang, SHE, Energy, *omgpuke* 5566 *omgpuke*.
It's sad.

Don't forget to check out the song I posted in the previous post. Good stuff.

Folk and indie irritate me sometimes. They go all out making themselves so indie and folk that there's the slight inclination to either go square dancing or crying because it's so freaking morbid.

Indie and folk doesn't necessarily translate to good music, mind you. Like how I like the songs by Brandi Carlyle once in a while but after a few sessions of her songs, her wailing makes me wanna delete the song.

I think that's on a per person basis.
I haven't deleted any of her songs yet. Heh.

What bands have you been listening to that makes you feel so morbid?
I'll post some (sorta) happy songs just for you okay?
