First, it was the age problem. Then, it was the weight problem.
Now that she's gained about 2kgs (by drinking Herbalife), that obstacle is no more an obstacle!
Come out come out wherever you are:
Her blood flow was.... sssssssssllllllllllooooooooooowwwwwwwww.
The nurse said to another nurse that came to check, "Slow... Dia memang slow."
Yesterday, I decided I was going to take the plunge today too after failing to meet the requirements a couple of times.
Lo and behold, I didn't make it. Again.
The first time, it was in high school. Pn. Chee's class to be specific. Everyone said they wanted to donate blood and that was during her period.
But Pn. Chee's a smart woman; she knew what we were up to.
Anyway, I couldn't donate then because I wasn't 18 (or was it 17? Shit. I'm confused. How did Tee Yoong get through?!) yet.
Then during college, I couldn't because I wasn't 18 and not 45kg.
This time, I didn't pass because I had a piercing that was 4 months old and apparently it has to be at least 6 months since your last piercing.
Sigh, it's just so hard to donate blood.
Also, I learned today that the amount of blood they take from you depends on your weight. So if I'm 45kg, they won't be able to take much.
I think I'm going to be like this when I finally have my first blood donation:
OMG, so LITTLE?!
I've waited all these years and you take so little from me??
Take MORE lah!!
